Gareth was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Prytania in 2005.
Gareth’s prior roles include Treasurer for a major US and UK corporate finance institutions Conoco, Redland and Abbey National.
Since 2001, Gareth has served on the boards of a number of public and private companies, principally in the financial services sector.
Gareth is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers, serving as Chairman of the association from 1996 to 1997.
Joe was appointed Chairman of Prytania at inception of the company in 2003.
Joe was formerly Chief Executive Officer for J.P. Morgan in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Mark has been Chief Investment Officer of Prytania since the firm’s inception in 2003 and Chief Executive Officer since October 2016. Mark has spent over thirty investment years in the financial industry, the last nineteen years investing on the buy-side.
Before joining Prytania, Mark constructed and managed a proprietary credit portfolio of over $1bn at Ansbacher & Co, alongside money market funds, investment grade, high-yield and emerging market funds.
Mark began his career as a financial analyst and economist at the Bank of England and was later responsible for economic and investment strategy at a number of securities houses covering cash and derivative products in debt, equity, foreign exchange and commodity markets.
Mark holds a first class MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
Andrew has been the Senior Portfolio Manager at Prytania since 2009.
Prior to this, Andrew was Head of Structured Products at Gulf International Bank in London, where he was responsible for the development of GIBUK’s ABS CDO franchise.
Andrew began his career in commercial banking, underwriting corporate and retail loans, before moving on to commercial property lending.
John is a senior investment analyst at Prytania, specialising in CRE CDOs, TruPS CDOs, CMBS and CLOs. He joined Prytania in 2006, after completing his postgraduate studies.
John received an MEng in Civil Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace (Greece), an MSc in Operational Research from Lancaster University and an MSc in Finance from Imperial College London.
Michael’s investment focus lies on European RMBS and CMBS. Additional investment areas are more esoteric ABS asset classes such as Student and Consumer Loans.
Michael joined Prytania in 2006, after graduating from Imperial College London with an MEng in Chemical Engineering. Michael also holds a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
Marcus is a senior CLO analyst at Prytania, and also models and analyses a variety of other structured credit products including SME CLOs and ABS CDOs.
Marcus joined Prytania in 2006 and has a BSc in Psychology from the University of Reading
Colin currently focuses on the European and UK structured finance space: ABS, RMBS, CMBS and SME CLOs. He is also involved in building and maintaining advanced quantitative capabilities to analyse these markets.
Colin joined Prytania in 2013 and holds a BSc. in Applied Mathematics and a Masters in Financial Markets from Paris Dauphine University.
David joined Prytania as an Investment Analyst in July 2017.
He graduated from the University of Oxford with an MChem in Chemistry and DPhil in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry specialising in the computational modelling of magneto-rheological fluid systems.
David also spent a year as a member of academic staff at the university, redesigning significant parts of the undergraduate chemistry course.
Fahd joined the firm in 2018 and is based in New York City.
Previously, Fahd was a Director at 25 Capital Partners, where he helped launch a mortgage opportunities fund and focused on real estate related investments. Prior to that he was a Senior Vice President at Atlantic Asset Management where he managed a $1.1bn TALF fund investing in distressed consumer ABS.
Fahd’s fourteen years of experience in structured credit also includes various advisory and lending roles at Bank of America and UBS, where he was involved in over $44bn in transactions across a number of asset classes including mortgages, student loans, auto loans and leases, credit cards and other esoteric ABS.
Fahd holds a BA in Economics from Northwestern University, Chicago.
Julie joined Prytania in 2013 and is based in Chicago.
Previously, Julie was a research analyst and a portfolio manager at GCM Grosvenor. Her specialty was credit manager due diligence and constructing credit-centric Fund of Fund portfolios. She was portfolio manager for $5bn in alternative investments including the firm’s only structured credit Fund of Funds product.
Julie has 32 years of finance experience most notably in investment analysis, developing customised investment solutions, capital markets transactions and risk management.
Julie holds an MBA from the Booth School at University of Chicago.
Hualin joined Prytania in early 2016 after previously working in Luxury Management, Private Banking, Corporate Finance, and Emerging Markets Equities.
Hualin is an IMC holder and gained a Masters Degree in Finance and Management from University of St Andrews and a BSc. in International Accounting from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
Hualin speaks Mandarin and English.
Mike joined Prytania in 2015 to lead the development of new systems for the Front and Middle Office.
Prior to joining, Mike was a Quantitative Application Engineer and work stream leader at the Bank of England where he was responsible for design and implementation of risk analytics for the 2014 Stress Test of the UK banking system. Mike has 15 years’ commercial experience developing front and middle office systems, analytics and risk models within Secured Credit and Fixed Income.
Mike has a PhD in High Energy Physics and a Bsc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Liverpool.
Gideon has been Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Prytania since 2009.
Prior to this, Gideon was UK CFO and a member of the UK Executive Committee at AXA Investment Managers from 2003 to 2009, where he was also globally responsible for business and financial reporting for the investment teams across AXA IM.
Gideon qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997.
Effie joined Prytania in 2006, with primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Middle Office.
Her current role involves performance measurement, analysis and reporting as well as systems and process development to meet the current and future requirements stemming from the instrument coverage, usage of derivatives, market regulation and new services provided by Prytania.
Effie holds a 2:1 Honours BA Degree from the University of Cambridge.
Jon joined Prytania as a Middle Office Administrator in August 2017.
Jon began his career in the CLO trustee space at U.S. Bank, after which he moved onto the buy-side to help oversee the first CLO 2.0 transaction in Europe at Cairn Capital and run the administration and client reporting of their leveraged loan business. Jon has more than 10 years’ Middle Office experience overseeing transactions in Structured Credit.
He holds a Level 1 CFA and graduated from the University Of Birmingham with a 2.1 in Money, Banking & Finance.
Tejomon joined Prytania in 2012, as a Systems Administrator, managing IT infrastructure and systems.
Tejomon Holds a BSc in Computer Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Networks from Middlesex University, London. Tejomon currently holds MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and VCP-DCV (VMware Certified Professional in Datacenter Virtualization) certifications.
Uliana joined Pyrtania in 2015 to support the Middle and Back Office functions.
Uliana holds the ACCA qualification, which she completed at London School of Business & Finance in 2012 and is an ACCA member. Prior to her career in finance, Uliana completed a Masters Degree in Medicine from Pacific State Medical University.
